Nama Xam - As a poet Nama Xam has been a regular at the Verses, MUTE poetry sessions, Best of Ekapa Underground Sessions, Expression Session Worcestor and is the host of Expression Session Kuilsriver (a space for creative to share). Over the years Nama Xam has been dropping singles of self, as he puts it

Anele Kose - Born and raised in the Eastern Cape, Anele fell in love with poetry in the late 90s. He was most influenced by hip-hop (rap), from Dead Prez to Tupac. He started writing and performing poetry at his high school, after which went on studying travel and tourism but never left the gift of writing and performing poetry behind. He has performed at Eatslon College and in JHB.

Siphokazi Jonas - Siphokazi Jonas is a performance poet, based in Cape Town. Over the last 10 years, she has performed at numerous events and spaces around the country. In March 2014, she was the first poet to perform at the Music Exchange annual conference, where Yasiin Bey (Mosdef) was the keynote speaker. She was also one of the opening acts at "Speak Life 5", featuring US poets Ezekiel and Janette...ikz. As a postgraduate student, she launched poetry sessions in the UCT English department and piloted a seminar on contemporary performance poetry in South Africa. Her work is spiritual.

Pieter Odendaal - Pieter was born in Pretoria in 1989 and grew up in Bloemfontein. He spends his time as project manager for SLiP(the Stellenbosch Literary Project), co-organising the InZync Poetry Sessions and workshops, studying towards a postgraduate diploma in Sustainable Development, writing poetry, playing piano and chilling somewhere under a tree.
