What’s up? Who that about? ERG has landed.

So Saturday 26th February 2011 we started writing history, we were epic! Myself and Omnyama working on the contours of the ‘beyond imagination’ space forged by EXPLORE, EXPERIENCE, and EXPRESS. We had mad performances by JOHNNY CRADLE, SUGAH, BUNTUSTAN AVENUE and DATHINI MZAYIYA on the decks. We had the crowd “on their toes!” as fellow artist DAT MVC would say when he’s on stage (but talk about this artistic Gugulethu legend will be on another agenda).

Let me create a quick mind map of ERG:

I am not one to dwell on descriptions of how the night went, how we marvelled on the epic sounds of the experimental energies, or how rehearsals went on stage, but this I will say:

Johnny Cradle: Damn, you are a best-kept secret;
BuntuStan Avenue: You’re always subject to change – your sound’s just nje!
Sugah baby: You just so ripe;
and as for Dathini Mzayiya: You’re versatile like hell.

So, in my next scribbled notes I will tell you more about these movers and shakers. As for now, I want you to think
